Short Term Missions
Come experience a cross-cultural ministry and learn about the Indian people, country and history. Sort term mission trips help lay the foundation for long term spiritual change. We regularly host missionary teams in India. These teams work by helping teach English and basic computer skills to the natives. These mission trips have a specific objective, to help serve the native missionaries and encourage their work.
This first-hand experience helps missionaries learn about working in a foreign culture and gives them contact with orphans in a Christian environment. These mission trips are life-changing experiences. We also partner with churches and para-church organizations to help them coordinate mission trips.
We teach all our missionaries to consider this question: How can we glorify Christ while being sensitive to the culture and customs of India? Life Light ministries will give you the opportunity to learn about world religions and visit their mosques and temples. By understanding them, you can better reach natives with the gospel. We encourage you to apply for an internship program at St. John’s School. This is a self-sponsored internship program. Typical duties include teaching English to school-aged children.
This is a unique opportunity to work and research at an educational institution in India. We offer you a venue in which to use your God given talents and skills to glorify Christ by training and teaching staff members. During your time here, consider how you can be a change agent for the Lord in this region.
